Please report your layoff by

The Unemployment website has changed again as of July 2022. You will have to create a new account on www.reemployct.com. Please file whether or not you have received your pink slip.

• You will need to create a new User ID & password
• Answer 3 security questions and provide your email address
• After you register, you will receive an email from DOL.ReEmployCT@ct.gov with a verification code.
• Enter the verification code on the website and then on the left click on “File Unemployment Claim”
• You will need to enter your personal information, list of dependents, contact details & Employment details
  • Claimant must complete the Weekly Certification Details Page
  • Physically Able to Work Full Time
  • Available for Full Time Work
  • Return to Full Time Employment Date
  • Refuse Offer of Employment or Rehire
  • Pension
  • Dismissal Pay (Severance, Vacation)
  • SAY “NO” to Supplemental Unemployment pay
    • (Their idea of SUB is different from ours; we have a benefit plan thru the Union)

Please make sure you mark “YES” to the Trade Union member question. Make sure you say you are available for work.

Please note that your first payment will be delayed two weeks now with the new system.
